Motivating the target language learner (Arabic, for example)

The motivation of a TL learner can take various forms:

– The use of movies and audiovisuals, making the language learning very amazing.

– Encouraging the learner to ask questions and build a very strong relationship with him.

– Encouraging learners to correct their mistakes by themselves in order to acquire self-esteem.

– Encouraging learners to correct the mistakes of their classmates.

– Correcting mistakes and errors without offending learners.

– Avoiding correcting errors when concentrating on linguistic fluency, to give learners the opportunity to easily practice their language in communication.

– Respecting the learners’ original cultures and their values.

– Repeating always, to assist learners having difficulties in the target language (TL).
