To improve our intrapersonal communication skills, we’ve to:
– exploit opportunities that help us avoiding, or at least, reducing shyness (activities, events…)
– work hard for self-esteem, by motivating our strengths and accepting failure as a factor towards success. Then, mistakes are not negative if we can understand how to exploit them to develop ourselves.
– avoid thinking being “perfect”, because “nobody is perfect”.
– learn always to be more positive, skillful and competent.
And for improving the interpersonal communication, we must:
– avoiding prejudices and negative attitudes, expressing egocentrism or selfishness.
– respecting others, even though they are different from us.
– giving “the other” an interest when he speaks (a smile, encouraging him to continue his speech…).
– avoiding the attitude of indifference, and learning to know how to behave well with people in difficulty…
